The “Red Dot Award” is one of the most famous design awards that, since 1955, evaluates thousands of products worldwide. To receive the award in the year of its 35th Anniversary makes the Hangzhou-based Company even more proud of this result. CFMOTO is the first ever Chinese Brand to win the “Red Dot Award: Product Design” with a significant displacement ICE motorcycle.

The 800NK is a global product that, through its iconic shapes, has conquered the hearts of many enthusiasts worldwide and the attention of the Red Dot jury. The flagship model of the NK family has marked a milestone for CFMOTO: the introduction of a design philosophy that is now setting the pace for all the new motorcycles joining the line-up. Strong of its 799 cc inline twin-cylinder engine, the 800NK is a naked bike with a distinctive “Cut The Edge” design, high-tech features and top-class performance.

This award is an international recognition for the CFMOTO Design Team and the R&D Department: a proof of dedication by our designers and technicians focused on innovation and delivering the best products to customers. The vision of CFMOTO design has been defined by the 2-wheels Design Director Carles Solsona, who is based in the CFMOTO European R&D Center in Italy.

The 800NK Advanced, with an 800cc engine displacement comes with an attractive selling price starting at RM 38,888, excluding insurance and road tax. This motorcycle uses a twin-cylinder engine with a DOHC system, a combination of the latest technology. One compact machine’s combination of energy and efficiency results from a maximum power of 74kW at 9,500rpm and a maximum torque of 81Nm at 8,000rpm.

The introduction of the 800NK Advanced model with two elegant colour options, Zircon Black and Nebula White, is a move that refers to CFMOTO. With the features and performance this model promises, it will undoubtedly attract the interest of motorcycle enthusiasts in Malaysia and further strengthen CFMOTO’s reputation as the top choice in the automotive world.

The CFMOTO 800NK features a slipper clutch that helps prevent rear wheel instability during aggressive downshifts, especially when entering corners at high speeds. To ensure a good balance between handling, grip, and riding stability, this machine uses front tyres with size 120/60- 17 and rear tyres 180/55-17, which is its more recent appearance. As for the front suspension, this model uses an adjustable reverse suspension from the KYB brand. KYB inverted suspension performs better in handling dynamic loads while riding at high speeds. This makes the 800NK model more suitable for dynamic and challenging driving. The rear suspension uses a single suspension and can also be adjusted to provide stability, especially when cornering at high speed since there is no torque.

The CFMOTO 800NK model has an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS). This technology improves control and stability by modulating brake pressure on individual wheels, preventing skidding and allowing the rider to maintain control. With ABS on the CFMOTO 800NK, riders can brake more confidently, even on slippery surfaces or during sudden stops. This technology reduces the risk of accidents caused by skidding and loss of control due to excessive braking force.

Most importantly, the CFMOTO 800NK also uses an intelligent Smart Key System. This innovative key system is easy to start, turn off the engine, and open the storage compartment and fuel tank without taking the key out of your pocket. It’s easier and safer with this intelligent technology.

This latest model also has various electronic systems and features to improve its performance, safety and rider experience. The 8-inch wireless TFT screen connects technology navigation directly to the motorcycle’s screen, such as main music and smartphone notifications. In addition, the OTA (Over-The-Air) update system allows manufacturers to update software. These advanced features show that CFMOTO combines modern technology and convenience in the 800NK model, improving the overall riding experience with better visibility, information display, connectivity and software updates.
